Lavanderian is owned and operated by Molly Legate, Sole Proprietor. For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “Lavanderian,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Molly Legate doing business as Lavanderian.
Acceptance of terms
By accessing our website, creating an account, scheduling service, or using Lavanderian’s services, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Service eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use paid services. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to protect your account credentials. You are responsible for activity completed through your account.
Pickup and delivery
You are responsible for providing accurate service details, safe access, and securely bagged items at the agreed location. Service timing is an estimate and may change because of order volume, item condition, weather, access, or other circumstances. You agree to retrieve delivered items promptly and provide any special care instructions before service begins.
Garment care and excluded items
We use reasonable care when handling items. You are responsible for checking pockets and removing valuables, loose items, and items that should not be washed or dried using standard methods. Do not submit hazardous, contaminated, infested, or illegal materials. Items requiring special care should be identified in advance, and we may decline items we cannot safely process.
Normal wear, color loss, shrinkage, damage caused by undisclosed defects or improper care labels, and items left in pockets may be outside Lavanderian’s control.
Pricing, memberships, and payment
Current prices and available plans are displayed on our website or communicated before service. Charges may be based on weight, item count, selected services, fees, or membership terms. You authorize us and our payment provider to charge the payment method associated with your order for amounts you approve or owe.
Membership benefits, included pounds, billing periods, and plan availability may vary by plan. Unless otherwise stated, unused benefits do not carry forward. You may contact us to request plan changes or cancellation before a future billing period.
Cancellations and service issues
Please contact us as soon as possible to change or cancel a pickup. Fees may apply when a driver has already been dispatched or service has begun. If you believe an item is missing or damaged, contact us promptly with order details so we can review the issue.
Text message terms
By opting in to Lavanderian text messages, you agree to receive messages related to your inquiries, account, pickups, orders, deliveries, receipts, and services at the mobile number provided. Message frequency may vary, up to 4 messages per week. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Mobile numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, and consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website or portal, interfere with operations or security, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information, violate another person’s rights, or use the services for unlawful purposes.
Disclaimers and limitation
Services are provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website access or exact pickup and delivery times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lavanderian is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the services.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms or modify, suspend, or discontinue part of the services. Continued use after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms. We may restrict access when these terms are violated or when necessary to protect customers, staff, or the service.
